Early on in the first season of Sailormoon, she receives two special tactical devices from Usagi's talking cat-guardian, Luna: the Mercury Mini-Computer, and the VR Visor. These aid her in spotting enemy traps, formulating plans, and performing complex calculations.

She, in my opinion, also possesses some of the most pointless, useless attacks (aside from Chibimoon's). What, exactly, does her Shabon Spray (Bubbles Blast) attack do besides make is hard for everyone to see?

Despite her getting the short end of the henshin wand when it comes to powers, Sailormercury's brainpower more than makes up for any shortcomings, making her a loyal friend and a valuable asset to the Sailor Senshi.
