Kaioh Michiru is a beautiful, talented painter/violinist-turned-Senshi. She is also the other half of an extremely popular duo in Sailormoon: that consisting of herself and Tenoh Haruka/Sailoruranus. (No, they are not cousins.)

Very elegant and refined, Michiru is the picture of a privileged, cultured young lady. (In the dub, she sounds, rather ironically more masculine than her counterpart "Amara"...) But, like Haruka, she has a secret life - her life as Sailorneptune.

For as kind and gentle as Michiru can be, she is almost the exact opposite as a Senshi. She has no qualms about risking herself or even innocent others if it means she'll accomplish her mission. (Ironically enough, Sailorneptune is killed trying to save Sailoruranus, despite their contract with each other that if one dies, the other should continue their mission.)

She makes it perfectly clear that she is not to be underestimated. Her weapon is the Deep Aqua Mirror, her Talisman that was hidden in her heart crystal. She has a strong sixth sense which helps her detect danger. She is a formidable fighter and a great asset to the Outer Senshi.
