This is an utterly terrifying preview the half-live-action-half-reanimated-hybrid of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Jem, She-Rah and The Babysitter's Club that this wonderful show could have become. (Scary stuff.) When you start ripping on DiC and Cloverway for their shitty dubbing jobs, take a look at this and you'll see that CWi might not be so bad after all... (Can't believe I just said that...)

Not only did they reanimate the series, they decided that the original show was not culturally diverse enough for our children to watch. So we add two blondes, an Asian, a brunette (née Neanderthal), and a token wheel-chair-bound red-head, and come up with a nice amalgamation of modern-day society fighting intergalactic crime on space surf-boards. (Unfortunately, I guess it was just too diverse to make one of the blondes African American or obese. Oh well, we'll just have to settle I guess.)

This isn't the best quality, as it was filmed with a hand video camera at a convention (I believe), and there are people talking the background (listen to what they're saying - it's funny, especially considering that they're all guys - the noise they make at the end just sums the whole piece of crap up), but this will give you a very good reason to bow down and thank DiC for preserving what they did of the series. Want to know more? Proceed downwards, brave soul, for a glimpse of the terror awaiting those who view this...
