I've been meaning to put this section in here forever. I never seemed to get the chance to... Heh. OK, well, for those of you who like to e-mail me and ask me about myself, here you go! A page all about StarFire!

Favorite Gemstone:  Diamond, dark sapphires, and garnets.

Favorite Metal:  Platinum, silver (HATE yellow gold, and am allergic to white gold)

Web History:  I started my very first site, the predecessor to this one (Sailor StarFire's Sailor Moon Page), back when I was a sophomore in high school, in 1995/96. (I started building it in 95, but didn't advertise or make it very public until more around 96.) Since then I've loved web design. I attended college for it, and have two part-time jobs in it, one as a freelancer for The Immuexa Corporation, and one redeisgning the website of a church I attend. I now have more sites than I know what to do with, and co-run a multimedia site that receives around 300 hits a day (Anime Revolution). I'm still looking for full-time web work, but I don't think I'll ever stop doing things with my existing sites. I love making new ones, too, so expect to see a bunch of things in the future.

StarFire's Identity Crisis

So you've been all over FMOCT and you thought it was only one person running the page... But you keep stumbling across sentences that say "StarFire decided to share her creations with fellow Sailormoon fans"... You figure, "So, if StarFire decided to, it must mean there's someone else doing the writing for that part..." Confused? OK, yes, I often speak in the third person. I can't help it. (I even do it in real life! -_-() My friends have all gotten used to it by now, I think. =^_^=) Unfortunately, sometimes I'll switch to third person in the middle of a sentence or paragraph. Sorry if I confuse people! It is only me running the page. =^_^= Also, I don't know if it's because of the way I act or talk or what, but some people have been e-mailing me lately (which I don't mind, don't worry! =^_^=) asking what gender I am. Despite my tendency toward saying "she" instead of "I", I just want to clarify that I am, in fact, of the female part of our species, that being the human race (for most of us, anyway). =^_^=

StarFire vs. Star-fire: Battle To The Death!

This might seem a little childish, but I'm sick of people getting my name wrong. It's StarFire, all one word, S and F are capitalized. Not Starfire, Star Fire, Star-fire, or Starfighter (as I've gotten a few times). Please take the time to spell it right!! You have no idea how much this bugs me! It's a weird thing for me to go ballistic over, but trust me - it makes me nuts. It's another of my quirks. There are a few people who call me different things (such as my friend Rosey who calls me "Sutaa-chan"), and that doesn't bother me, but I hate people spelling my name wrong. So unless you type in all lowercase letters constantly (which I do on some of my sites, though usually I still spell StarFire capitalized), I'd appreciate people spelling StarFire correctly if you're going to talk to me or about me. Thank you!

Say What?! StarFire's Anime Emoticons In Action

Emoticons are graphic representations of expressions and feelings people put on their pages. If you've explored pretty much any portion of any of my sites, you'll notice that I tend to use a lot of them. (In this layout, I've edited out many of them in an attempt to make the site a bit more professional...) My personal favorite is the cat face. =^_^= I know a lot of people familiar with anime pages will probably be able to figure most of these out, but for those still confused, I've compiled a little list of the various emoticons you'll find on my pages, along with descriptions of what they're supposed to mean... -_-()

Well, I hope this helped you understand what I'm trying to say, at least a little... It's kind of difficult to explain them, but a lot easier to just use them.

StarFire's Computer

Interested in StarFire's computer? Nicknamed "The POS ToastMaster™ 5000 Plus" (because, in StarFire's phraseology, "It wants to be a toaster," which means that it's a piece of crap that freezes all the time and gives her system errors - though some people think StarFire is surrounded by a strange magnetic field of some sort that interferes with all electronic devices she goes near...), her computer has served her fairly well for all the beatings she's given it. StarFire takes multitasking on her poor Dell to a whole new level. Though now it has reason to run better (even though it doesn't), since StarFire's Dad took pity on her and bought her and the Mattousai upgrades for their computers... (OK, so it was more like he was out buying upgrades for the family computer and just happened to think of us as well. ::hugs::)

(Oh, and incidentally, in case you were wondering, it's set on "Extra Dark" at the moment. StarFire is thoroughly convinced that one of these days the blue screen of death will appear with the following message: IRRECOVERABLE DISK ERROR: Please eject contents of CD-ROM tray and insert slice of bread. This program will now terminate all existing operations on your computer. CAUTION: Metal surface is hot. Do not touch.)

But, alas for StarFire's little sister, since StarFire just got a shiny NEW computer (which still acts like a punk), she got saddled with the original POS ToastMaster. Happy fragging, Schmoo.

Name: The POS ToastMaster™ 5000 Plus*
Model: Compaq™ Presario 6016US

24x CD-RW
nVidia GeForce2 Graphics Card
Iomega™ Zip100 external drive
HP Scanjet 2200c scanner
*Yes, even though this is no longer, THE POS ToastMaster 5000 Plus, I feel the name must simply be carried on into eternity in remembrace of my old piece of crap that now belongs to my little sister.

Contacting StarFire

Need to get in touch with StarFire? Have a question, suggestion, or complaint about the site? Want to report a broken link? Here's how you can get in touch with me! (Please be constructive in your criticism - don't e-mail me and say, "Your site sucks," and then don't tell me why. If you have a problem, please tell me, because chances are others are having the same problem, and I'll try to fix it.)

E-mail: Sailor_StarFire18@yahoo.com
E-mail: StarFire@kazeninaru.net (not working temporarily - best bet is above)

ICQ: 38974687

AIM: sailorstarfire19

NOTE TO ICQ & AIM USERS - I'm almost NEVER on ICQ. No, really. If you've tried contacting me on ICQ and I haven't written back, it's because I don't even have the stupid thing on my computer anymore. I wiped my drive and never bothered to re-download it. I'm not shunning you, I promise. I'm usually on invisible on AIM, since I hate being bugged by random people, but if I should miraculously be online and visible, feel free to talk to me. Just say something right off the bat about the site - like, "Hi, StarFire! I visit your site(s)!" or something, so I don't think you're some random freak talking to me about nothing. I get a lot of those...
